Delaware Valley 4, Cabrini College 1

CARLISLE (PA) - In just her third collegiate game, freshman Ana Mecaj scored thee goals and assisted on another to lead the Delaware Valley College women's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Cabrini College in the consolation game of the Dickinson College Tournament.

The Aggies (2-1) fell behind 1-0 as Tricia Bradley scored an unassisted goal for the Cavaliers 17 minutes into the game. Mecaj notched her first collegiate goal to tie the game with 8:48 remaining in the first half.

Delaware Valley took the lead for good just three minutes later as Mecaj set-up Tara Corkery for the senior's first goal of the season. The goal upped Corkery's career point total to 70 and moved her into sole possession of second place on the Aggie all-time scoring list.

Mecaj gave Delaware Valley a two-goal lead with a breakaway goal 19 minutes into the second half. She completed the hat trick with 12:48 to go off a feed from fellow rookie Dana Ronyack.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Eversole made five saves in net for the Aggies.
