Women's Soccer

Delaware Valley 3, Baptist Bible College 1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Alicia Leonetti and Dana Ronyack had a goal and an assist apiece to lead the Delaware Valley College women's soccer to a 3-1, Homecoming victory over Baptist Bible College in a non-conference game.

Leonetti, a senior, scored her first collegiate goal with 31:20 remaining in the first half as she took a feed from Ronyack and beat Baptist Bible goalkeeper Deanna Parker.

The Aggies made it 2-0 just minutes later as freshman Ana Mecaj broke free and scored an unassisted goal. It was Mecaj's team-best sixth goal of the season.

Baptist Bible (4-5) cut its deficit in half with 7:02 remaining before intermission as Jennifer Dunbar scored off a Heather Vogel assist. However, Ronyack gave Delaware Valley (5-3) some breathing room early in the second stanza as the freshman scored her second goal of the season off a pass from Leonetti.

Delaware Valley held a 16-6 advantage in shots. Lindsay Eversole stopped four shots as the sophomore picked up her fifth win of the season.
