DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Mike Abbondondolo and Akwasi Owusu had one goal and one assist apiece to lead Manhattanville College to a 2-0, Freedom Conference victory over host Delaware Valley College in the season finale for both teams.

The Valiants ended their season 6-11-1 overall and 1-5 in the conference. The Aggies, under first-year head coach Brian Kammersgaard, wrapped up the '07 campaign 2-16-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the Freedom. They ended the program's long winless streak and improved both their offensive and defensive numbers from the previous year.

The game was scoreless for the first 60 minutes but Abbondondolo connected off a feed from Owusu with 29:35 remaining in the contest. Delaware Valley had a golden chance to tie the game but Eric Maciag's penalty kick missed the net. Shortly after, Abbondondolo set up Owusu for a goal and a 2-0 lead with 9:34 to go.

Manhattanville held a 13-7 advantage in shots. Jerry Tellier recorded two saves for the shutout while Steve Richtmyer made five stops for the Aggies.
