King's College 2, Delaware Valley College 1

WILKES-BARRE (PA) - King's College rallied for two goals in the final 15:18 and defeated visiting Delaware Valley College, 2-1, in a Freedom Conference game.

It was the conference opener for both teams as the Monarchs upped their record to 4-6-2 overall. The Aggies fell to 2-11.

After a scoreless first half, Delaware Valley took a 1-0 lead just 4:27 into the second stanza as Josh Oman scored his first goal of the season.

It remained a 1-0 game for the next 25 minutes until King's Cameron Audette tied the contest off an assist from Ryan Symons. Symons then tallied the game-winning goal with just 2:33 remaining off a Kevin Moulton pass.

King's outshot the Aggies 19-5 and held an 11-2 advantage in corners. Nick D'Amato made seven saves in defeat while John McNichol stopped three shots for the Monarchs.
