GWYNEDD VALLEY (PA) - Dennis Helverson scored a pair of goal as host Gwynedd-Mercy College posted a 2-0 victory over Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Helverson gave the Griffins (2-1) a 1-0 lead as he converted a pass from Joe Chilutti with 26:29 left in the first half. It stayed 1-0 until late in the contest when Helverson scored off a free kick with 10:17 to go.

Gwynedd-Mercy held a 22-8 advantage in shots. Nick D'Amato stopped 12 shots in the loss for the Aggies (0-3) while Sean Meehan and Joe Schneider combined for the shutout.
