MACIAG NAMED FREEDOM CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College sophomore forward Eric Maciag (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) has been named the Freedom Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending September 16.

Maciag notched two goals and one assist for five points, all coming in Delaware Valley's 4-3, come-from-behind win at Immaculata University on September 15. The victory snapped the Aggies' 37-game losing streak as well as their 62-game winless streak.

Maciag's second goal tied the game at 3-3 with 5:08 remaining. He then assisted on the game winner with just 2:43 to go.

Delaware Valley is 1-6 on the season and will host Washington College for a non-conference game on Tuesday, September 18 (4:00 p.m.).
