COLLEGEVILLE (PA) - Christopher Bascom scored a pair of goals as Ursinus College picked up its first win of the season with a 4-0 shutout over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Steve Sullivan opened the scoring for the Bears (1-7-2) less than 16 minutes into the contest. Bascom then followed with an unassisted tally with 25:22 to go in the first half as Ursinus took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.

Othmane Boutayeb made it 3-0 just seven minutes into the second stanza and Bascom followed with 8:33 remaining to end the scoring.

The Bears held a 16-4 advantage in shots while three goalkeepers combined for the shutout. None of them had to make a save in the game. Steve Richtmyer had 13 saves for the Aggies (0-11).
