FDU-Florham 4, Delaware Valley College 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Alex Malcolm scored three goals and assisted on another as FDU-Florham posted a 4-0 shutout over host Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

The win was the first for the Devils in conference play as they improved to 4-10-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the Freedom. The Aggies saw their record fall to 0-15 overall and 0-6 in the Freedom.

Malcolm assisted on the lone goal of the first half as he set up Ali Bayram's tally with 24:36 left in the stanza. Then it was all Malcolm in the second half as made it 2-0 off an assist from Brian Hurley with 25:42 to go. Four minutes later, FDU-Florham was awarded a penalty kick and Malcolm successfully converted it. He then finished his hat trick with 12:53 remaining off an assist from Daniel Cardagna.

Steve Richtmyer had six saves in the loss.
