DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Widener University received second-half goals from Doug Gabel and Ryan Sullivan as the Pioneers posted a 2-0 shutout over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The game was scoreless at the half before Gabel notched an unassisted tally with 24:42 remaining to give Widener (6-5) a 1-0 lead. Sullivan provided an insurance goal, his team-best fifth of the season, with 5:02 to go.

The Pioneers outshot the Aggies (0-11-1), 25-7, and held an 8-1 advantage in corners. Mike Huminski made three saves for the shutout while Delaware Valley's Nick D'Amato stopped nine attempts.
