St. Joseph's College (NY) 3, Delaware Valley 1

GLASSBORO (NJ) - St. Joseph’s College scored three times in the first half to defeat Delaware Valley College, 3-1 on Saturday night in the second round of the Rowan University Invitational.

Marco Saccoccio started with scoring with an unassisted goal at 6:18. Saccoccio struck again at 12:42 with an assist from Chris Kunzig to give St. Joseph’s a 2-0 lead. Paul DeSimone (fr. Medford, NY) closed out the first half scoring with a goal at the 20:57 mark.

Ryan Dunbar provided the offense for the Aggies with a goal nearly 17 minutes into the second half . Chris Wellington had an assist on the play.

Nick D’Amato had four shots in goal for the Aggies outshot the Golden Eagles, 12-9. The Aggies’ Tarweh Witherspoon was named to the All-Tournament team.
