Lycoming College 8, Delaware Valley 1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Matt Frey scored one goals and assisted on three others as Lycoming College notched an 8-1, Freedom Conference victory over host Delaware Valley College.

The Warriors improved to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference. The Aggies fell to 0-14-1 overall and 0-5 in conference play.

Lycoming scored just 4:40 into the contest as Jeff Kocher found the net off an assist from Phil Kratochvil. Frey made it 2-0 with 15:20 remaining in the half then assisted on goals by Jordan Machesky and Tony Komons for a 4-0 advantage early in the second half. It was 5-0 when the Aggies hit the scoreboard as Mick Hannan scored his team-best fourth goal of the year off a Tarweh Witherspoon assist with 28:08 remaining.

However, Lycoming scored three more tines as Ryan Burgett tallied a pair of goals - one of an assist from Frey - and Troy Watson had one for the 8-1 final.
