King's College 1, Delaware Valley 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Ricky Branco scored the lone goal of the game with just 3:40 remaining as King's College spoiled Delaware Valley College's Homecoming with a 1-0 victory in a Freedom Conference game.

The Monarchs improved to 3-7-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Freedom Conference while the Aggies fell to 0-9-1, 0-3.

The game was scoreless for more than 86 minutes until Branco took a pass from Brandon Placke and beat Delaware Valley goalkeeper Nick D'Amato.

King's held a 19-10 advantage in shots and a 15-3 advantage in corners. Danny Roth made seven saves, en route to the shutout. D'Amato had seven stops for the Aggies.
