Chestnut Hill College 3, Delaware Valley 1

PHILADELPHIA (PA) - Chestnut Hill College received goals from three different players as the Griffins notched a 3-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Chestnut Hill improved to 7-8 on the season while the Aggies fell to 0-17-1 with one game remaining in their season.

Leslie Mulah and Boyd McCorkle scored unassisted goals just 87 seconds apart late in the first half for a 2-0 Chestnut Hill advantage. The lead went to 3-0 early in the second as Don Russo scored off assists from Mike Devine and Greg Webb.

Delaware Valley's lone tally came with 21:06 remaining as Mick Hannan scored his team-best fifth goal of the year off a Tarweh Witherspoon assist. The Aggies held a 20-19 edge in shots. Chris Zirpoli made six saves in the loss.
