Cabrini College 4, Delaware Valley 3

HAVERFORD (PA) - Cabrini College's Joe Rotan scored his second goal of the game with just 2:29 remaining to give the Cavaliers a 4-3 victory over Delaware Valley College in the consolation game of the Haverford College Jimmy Mills Tournament.

The loss dropped the Aggies to 0-5 on the season while Cabrini improved its record to 1-3-1 on the year.

Delaware Valley rallied from a 3-1, second-half deficit to tie the contest. Chris Wellington scored off a Zack DelaPena assist with 26:43 remaining, and Mick Hannan followed with an unassisted goal off a mad scramble in front of the Cabrini net with 12:23 to go.

However with the clock winding down towards overtime, Rotan sent a low shot past Delaware Valley goalkeeper Nick D'Amato for the game winner.

Cabrini jumped out to a 2-0 lead on first-half tallies by Brent Benner and Brendan McCauley. The Aggies got one back early in the second half as Rachward Miller scored an unassisted goal. The Cavaliers made it a two-goal game once again as Rotan scored his first goal of the contest.

D'Amato made 10 saves in the loss for the Aggies, who were outshot 28-19 in the game.
