Wilkes University 3, Delaware Valley 1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Mike Bridy and Steve Uhas had a goal and an assist apiece as Wilkes University posted a 3-1 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

It was the season final for the Aggies as they wrapped up the year with an 0-18-1 overall record and an 0-6-1 mark in the Freedom. The Colonels improved to 8-6-2, 3-3-1.

Andy Curry gave Wilkes a 1-0, first-half lead off assists from both Bridy and Uhas. Freshman Nick D'Amato tied the contest with 26:24 remaining in the second half as took a feed from Michael Mayne and scored his first collegiate goal.

However, Bridy and Uhas scored goals six minutes apart later in the half to give the Colonels the victory.

Delaware Valley held a 21-9 advantage in shots. Chris Zirpoli made four saves in the loss while Mike Leaman made nine stops for Wilkes.
