DOYLESTOWN (PA) -- Sophomore Stephen Horst scored his first collegiate goal with 5:19 remaining to lift the Delaware Valley College men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over visiting Philadelphia Biblical University in a non-conference game.

The game was scoreless for nearly 85 minutes before Horst took a pass from fellow sophomore Mick Hannan and beat Crimson Eagle goalkeeper Aaron Hoxie for the game winner.

Delaware Valley (3-11) dominated the contest as it held a 30-8 advantage in shots and missed the school record by just two. The 1993 squad posted 32 shots in a victory over Beaver College (now Arcadia University).

Aggie freshman Chris Zirpoli stopped all eight shots he faced to pick up his third win of the season and his first collegiate shutout. Hoxie kept Philadelphi Biblical (9-6-1) in the contest by making 24 saves.
