King's College 3, Delaware Valley 1

WILKES-BARRE (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College men's soccer team concluded the 2002 campaign with a 3-1 loss to host King's College in a Freedom Conference game.

The loss ended the Aggies's season with a 3-15 overall record and a 1-6 mark in conference play. The Monarchs saw its season end with a 7-12 mark (2-5 Freedom Conference).

King's took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half when Brandon Heller scored off an assist from Joe Saukulyak. The Monarchs would extend its lead to 2-0 with 20:48 left in the contest when Eric Hall scored an unassisted goal.

The Aggies would cut the lead to 2-1 with 6:07 left when Mike Mayne scored off a crossing pass from Michael Taylor. King's however would ice the game when Brian Noller drilled a shot from 40 yards out.

Each team took 11 shots while the Aggies had a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks. Pat Fackler had three saves for Delaware Valley.
