Aggies Place 14th At Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic

HERSHEY (PA) - The Delaware Valley College golf team finished in 14th place out of 15 squads at the 2008 Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic which was held at the Hershey Country Club (par 71).

The Aggies registered a four-man team score of 363 to top Lycoming College's 374. Perennial power Susquehanna University took top honors at the tournament with a six-over-par 290. It was the first time Delaware Valley played the course this season, which will host the Freedom Conference Championships at the end of the month.

Individually, Nick van Hook finished tied for 39th out of 78 golfers with an 86. Mike Molchan followed with an 88 while Jon Trotta and Jeff Smith rounded out the scorers with an 88 and 93 respectively. Chris Burnell also competed on the course and finished with a 105.
