SPRINGFIELD (PA) - The Delaware Valley College golf team opened its spring season by going 3-1 at a meet hosted by Swarthmore College at the Rolling Green Golf Club (par 71).

The Aggies registered a four-man score of 336 to down Cabrini College (342), Ursinus College (351) and Eastern University (362). Swarthmore went a perfect 4-0 with a team score of 322.

Individually, senior Joe Scioscia notched the top round for Delaware Valley and placed second at the event with a five-over-par 76. Only Swarthmore's David Lau topped Scioscia with a 75.

Scott Guadagnino registered an 82 for the Aggies while Nick van Hook and Scott Gingrich had rounds of 88 and 90 respectively. Brandon Bidwell also competed and his round of 99 did not count in the team scoring.
