Aggies Place 13th At Lebanon Valley Tournament


LEBANON (PA) - Delaware Valley College senior Joe Scioscia finished in second place as the Aggies competed at the Lebanon Valley College Spring Golf Tournament held at the Lebanon Country Club (par 72).

As a team, Delaware Valley finished in 13th place out of 23 squads with a four-man total of 342. Dickinson College captured the team title with a 329.

Sciosica shot a three-over-par 75 to defeat all but one of the 114 competitors at the tournament. He registered a 37 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine to finish just one stroke behind individual champion Bob Pyrz of Elizabethtown College.

Matt Gingrich tied seven others for 50th place with a round of 87 while Nick van Hook was among 10 golfers in 58th place with an 88. Scott Guadagnino's round of 92 placed him in a tie for 88th place and rounded out the team scoring for the Aggies.
