Golf Aggies Place Second At Lebanon
Valley Tournament LEBANON (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College
golf team opened the 2006 season by placing second out of 20 teams at the Lebanon
Valley College Spring Golf Tournament held at the Lebanon Country Club (par 72). The
Aggies, who are the defending Freedom Conference champions, notched a four-man
score of 316 to trail only Neumann College, which shot a 315. Alvernia College
(320), Moravian College (322) and Keystone College (327) rounded out the top five. Individually,
2005 Freedom Conference runner-up Mike Everingham paced Delaware Valley by shooting
a six-over-par 78 to finish in a tie for ninth place. Dustin Pierce and Joe Scioscia
finished tied for 11th as each golfer shot a 79, while Nick van Hook tied for
16th with a round of 80. Jeff Pianelli did not figure in the team scoring, but
tied for 48th with an 86. Delaware Valley returns to action on Friday, April
7 (12:30) when it competes at the Moravian College Invitational. Complete
