Delaware Valley Places Seventh at Blue Jay Classic

HERSHEY (PA) - The Delaware Valley College golf team finished in seventh place out of 15 teams at the Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Classic held on the East Course of the Hershey Golf Club (par 71).

The Aggies had a four-man score of 324 which tied them with McDaniel College but the Green Terror were awarded sixth place due to a lower individual score. Franklin & Marshall College won the tournament with a 309 with Moravian College (315), York College of Pennsylvania (230), The College of New Jersey (323) and Lebanon Valley College (323) rounding out the top five.

Mike Everingham, Dustin Pierce and Nick van Hook each posted a round of 80 to pace the Aggie contingent. Joe Scioscia notched an 84 to end the team scoring while Scott Guadagnino also competed and finished with an 87 (all teams sent five golfers and counted the top four scores).
