AggiesTie For Fourth At Lebanon Valley College Invitational

LEBANON (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College golf team finished tied for fourth place out of 15 teams at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational held at the Lebanon Country Club (Par 72).

The Aggies registered a team score of 341 to tie Lebanon Valley and Lycoming College in the standings. Moravian College captured the invitational with a 330 while Dickinson College and Keystone College followed with respective scores of 334 and 336.

Seniors Shawn Cooper and Lou Shults each shot an 83 to finish seven strokes behind the indvidual champion and tie for 13th place out of 77 golfers. Sophomore Eric Whitmore was tied for 35th with an 87 while junior Mike Everingham's 88 tied him for 39th place. Senior Joe Lynch did not figure in the team scoring but he tied for 56th with a 95.
