Aggies Place Seventh At Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Classic

HERSHEY (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College golf team placed seventh out of 14 teams at the Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Golf Calssic held at the Hershey Golf Club.

The Aggies registered a four-man team score of 321. Gettysburg College and Susquehanna University tied for top honors with scores of 306, but Gettysburg was awarded the team title because its top scorer had a two-stroke advantage over Susquehanna's top finisher.

Junior Mike Everingham and sophomore Eric Whitmore paced the Aggies as each shot a 79. Lou Shults finished with an 80 while fellow senior Shawn Cooper recorded a round of 83. Junior Dustin Pierce did not figure in the team scoring with a round of 85.
