Golf - 2005 Season Archive

Head coach Doug Linde and the Aggies finished its most successful season in school history with a 7-2 record in head-to-head meets and their first-ever Freedom Conference Championship.

Delaware Valley registered a 36-hole team score of 652 to run away from the seven-team championship field (the closest competitors were 12 strokes behind). Linde was named the Freedom Conference Coach of the Year for his efforts.

Junior Mike Everingham was the conference runner-up and earned first team, all-Freedom accolades with a two-day total of 161 - just two strokes behind the individual champion

Senior Shawn Cooper capped one of the top golf careers in Aggie history by placing sixth - the second time that Cooper placed in the top 10 at the conference championship. Justin Dustin Pierce joined Cooper on the all-conference second team as he finished in 10th place at the Freedom Championships.
