Interim
head coach Frank Wolfgang (head coach Doug Linde was on sabbatical
for the season) and the Aggies finished the 2004 season with a perfect
6-0 record in head-to-head meets and placed fifth out of 14 teams
at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.
It was the first undefeated regular season in Delaware Valley golf
history. The Aggies also made history by capturing their first-ever
invitational title by taking top honors out of 12 teams at the Lebanon
Valley College Invitational.
Junior Shawn Cooper, who was a MAC medalist (top 10 finish) in
2003, tied for 14th place at the 2004 tournament with a 45-hole
score of 196, including a one-over-par- 73 over the final 18 holes.
He averaged a team-best 78.6 strokes per round on the season.
Sophomore Mike Everingham tied for 16th place at the MACs with
a 45-hole score of 197 and averaged 79.5 strokes per round for the
season.
