Widener University 328, Delaware Valley 334, Alvernia 405

WEST CHESTER (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College golf team concluded its regular season by splitting a pair of matches at The Edgmont Country Club (Par 70) on Thursday. The Aggies' four-man score of 334 easily defeated Alvernia College (405), but fell six shots shy of Widener University (328).

Delaware Valley went 6-1 during the season and will now head to the three-day Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships on Friday, April 25.

Sophomore Shawn Cooper shot an 80 for the best round by an Aggie golfer. Senior Steve McDonald followed with an 83 while sophomore Lou Shults and freshman Dustin Pierce notched rounds of 84 and 87 respectively.
