Aggies Finish Third At Alvernia College
Invitational
READING (PA) - Delaware Valley College placed three golfers in
the top 20 as the Aggies placed third out of 12 teams at the Alvernia
College Invitational held at the par-72 Hawk Valley Golf Course.
Delaware Valley notched a four-man score of 325 which tied them
with Alvernia. However, the Aggies were awarded third place when
comparing the scores of each team's fifth golfer. Elizabethtown
won the invitational with a 320 while Widener placed second with
a 324.
Senior Steve McDonald earned a medal as he was tied with three
others for second place with a round of 78. That score was just
one stroke behind the individual champion, Justin Jacaruso of Widener.
Freshman Mike Everingham finished tied for 12th place with an 81
and sophomore Shawn Cooper finishedin a tie for 16th place with
an 82. Junior Tim Reese rounded out the team scoring with an 84
to finish tied for 21st. Freshman Dustin Pierce's 87 helped lift
the Aggies to third as that scored topped Alvernia golfer Dave Dallabrida's
