Golf - 2003 Season Archive

Head coach Doug Linde and the Aggies finished the most successful season in program history as the 2003 squad went 6-1 in head-to-head meets and was the runner-up at the 14-team Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.

Delaware Valley registered a five-man score of 957 at the 54-hole conference tournament. The Aggies only trailed Susquehanna University, which had a 924 and won its ninth straight MAC crown.

Delaware Valley had a par of conference medalists (top 10 finish) in sophomore Shawn Cooper and senior Steve McDonald. Cooper held the lead after day one and finished tied for fourth place with a 231. McDonald earned his second straight MAC medal by finishing eighth with a 236.
