ALBANESIUS NAMED TO MAC HONOR ROLL

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College senior nose guard Travis Albanesius (Green Lane, PA/Upper Perkiomen) has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Honor Roll for his performance in the Aggies' 21-14 victory at Albright College.

Albanesius notched seven tackles (four for losses) and three sacks as Delaware Valley held Albright's top-ranked offense well below their season averages of 27.9 points and 351.4 yards per game. The Lions managed just 266 yards, including only 77 in the first half. All of Albanesius' sacks occurred in those first 30 minutes.

Albanesius, a 2006 all-MAC second-team selection, finished the 2007 campaign with 53 tackles and four sacks. Delaware Valley went 5-5 overall and finished second in the MAC with a 5-2 league mark.
