ISGRO NAMED MAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College sophomore quarterback Mike Isgro (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Aggies' 49-13 victory at Lebanon Valley College.

Isgro accounted for 325 of Delaware Valley's 599 yards as he completed 23 of 30 passes for 268 yards and one touchdown and also rushed nine times for 57 yards and one trip to the end zone. His 43-yard scoring scamper gave the Aggies a 19-7 lead in the second quarter while his 28-yard touchdown toss came in the fourth quarter.

Isgro directed an Aggie offense that put together seven scoring drives of 60 or more yards, held the ball for more than 40 minutes (40:30) and was 16 for 20 on third-down conversions. time. McCann also racked a team-best nine tackles and 2.5 sacks in the contest.

For the season, Isgro has completed 79 of 134 passes for 839 yards and nine touchdowns and has also netted 131 yards and one score on 58 carries.

Delaware Valley is 2-3 overall and a perfect 2-0 in the MAC. The Aggies will host FDU-Florham for Homecoming and a conference game on Saturday, October 13 (1:00 p.m.).
