coach G.A. Mangus and the Aggies finished the 2002 season with a
2-8 overall record and a 1-8 mark in the Middle Atlantic Conference.
The victories were a 28-0 shutout at New Jersey City University
and a 35-29, four-overtime classic at FDU-Florham.
Senior wide receiver Rich Gear (first team) and junior tight end
Kevin Moloney (second team) were all-MAC selections, while freshman
quarterback Adam Knoblauch was named the MAC Rookie of the Year.
Gear ended his career as the most prolific wide receiver in Aggie
history. He owns or shares 11 school records including the career
marks for receptions (194), receiving yards (3,118) and touchdowns
(31). He was also selected to play in the 2002 Aztec Bowl - the
Division III All-Star Game - in Mexico.
