Delaware Valley College 6, Richard Stockton College 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - The scoring tandem of Michelle Cernobyl and Bethany Pavlik combined for three goals and two assists as Delaware Valley College improved to 4-0 on the year with a 6-0 blanking of visiting Richard Stockton College in a non-conference game.

Cernobyl, a first team all-Freedom Conference selection last year, recorded one goal and assisted on another to give her nine goals and two assists for 20 points on the season. The junior also moved into second place on the Aggie all-time scoring list as her 77 points surpassed Hall of Famer Diane Bradley's total of 75 points from 1980 to 1982. Cernobyl only trails Kristin Cottman, who registered 89 points from 2001 to 2004.

Pavlik, the 2005 conference Rookie of the Year and second-team honoree, had two goals and one assist on Saturday to up her season totals to eight tallies and three assists for 19 points. The sophomore also moved into 10th place on the all-time list with 48 points.

Delaware Valley held a 1-0 advantage at the half as freshman Nikki Rogers came off the bench and scored her first collegiate goal with 8:59 remaining. The Aggies then blew the game open in the second stanza with five goals, including three in the first 16 minutes.

Stephanie Dec began a big scoring day as she scored off an assist from Pavlik just 6:38 into the half. Dec then assisted on freshman Marissa Di Miero's first collegiate goal just two minutes later.

Pavlik made it 4-0 with an unassisted tally with 18:58 to go. She struck again off a feed from Cernobyl 4:43 to go and Cernoybl capped the scoring two minutes later off an assist from Dec.

Delaware Valley held a 28-2 advantage in shots. Jackie Deschenes made one save to earn her second shutout of the season. Debi O'Kane stopped 18 shots for the Ospreys (0-3).
