Delaware Valley College 8, Albright College 1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Lauren Lansberry and Bethany Pavlik scored two goals apiece as Delaware Valley College snapped a three-game losing streak with an 8-1 victory over visiting Albright College in a non-conference game.

Lansberry opened the game's scoring off a feed from Stephanie Dec with 22:18 left in the first half. Pavlik followed nine minutes later off a Danielle Heyne assist and she then assisted on a goal by Dec with just 92 seconds before the break for a 3-0 Aggie advantage.

Delaware Valley (9-6) put away the contest by connecting five times in the second half. Marissa Di Miero and Nicole Stefanoni scored goals just 36 seconds apart, with Stefanoni also assisting on Di Miero's tally for a 5-0 lead.

After an Albright goal, Michelle Cernobyl became the first player in Aggie history to reach the 100-point plateau (44 goals, 12 assists) for a career as the junior scored her 19th goal of the season. Pavlik each hit the goal column in the last 10 minutes for the 8-1 final. Di Miero recorded assists on two of the final three goals to finish with a four-point afternoon.

Albright's (7-6) lone tally was scored by Julianne Sahina off a feed from Kelly Zepp. Rachel Hager recorded 10 saves in the loss.

Amy Stafford started in goal for Delaware Valley for the first time this season and the former midfielder notched four saves.
