PAVLIK NAMED FREEDOM CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College sophomore midfielder Bethany Pavlik (Lewes, DE/Sussex Tech) has been named the Freedom Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for the period ending October 14.

Pavlik scored three goals and assisted on another for seven points in a 2-0 week for the Aggies. She opened with two goals and one assist in an 8-1 victory over Albright College on October 10 and followed with the lone goal of the game in a 1-0, conference triumph over Manhattanville College on October 13.

Pavlik, the Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year and a second-team honoree last season, is second on the team in goals (17), assists (7) and points (41) while her two game-winning tallies has her tied for first in that category.

Delaware Valley is 10-6 overall and 1-1 in the Freedom Conference. The Aggies return to action on Wednesday, October 17 at conference foe DeSales University.
