Delaware Valley College 2, Moravian College 0

BETHLEHEM (PA) - Sophomore Jackie Deschenes posted her second straight shutout and Delaware Valley College won its third game in a row as the visiting Aggies notched a 2-0 victory over Moravian College in a non-conference game.

Deschenes, who is in her first year as a starter, made five saves on the afternoon. Her biggest stop came on a penalty stroke with 2:16 remaining that helped preserve the shutout.

Delaware Valley (3-1) scored goals late in each half. The first came with just 1:16 to go before the intermission as freshman Bethany Pavlik notched her second goal of the season off a loose ball. It stayed that until the four-minute mark of the second stanza when senior Bobbie Fultz found the ball in a scramble in front of the cage and deposited her third goal of the year.

The Aggies held a 17-7 advantage in shots while the Greyhounds (1-5) had an 8-7 edge in penalty corners.
