Gwynedd-Mercy College 3, Delaware Valley College 1

GWYNEDD VALLEY (PA) - Erin Hill scored three times to lead Gwynedd-Mercy College to a 3-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Hill's first goal came just 7:06 into the game as she took a feed from Erin Reedy and beat Aggie goalkeeper Jackie Deschenes for a 1-0 lead. Midway through the half, Hill gave the Griffins (4-4) a 2-0 lead off an assist from Nicole Dowling.

Hill finished off the hat trick just 5:16 into the second half off another assist by Reedy. Delaware Valley (5-4) avoided the shutout with 14:56 remaining as senior midfielder Shannon Shivak tallied her third goal of the season.

Deschenes notched three saves for the Aggies, who held a 12-6 advantage in shots and a 16-7 advantage in corners.
