GLENSIDE (PA) - Freshman midfielder Danielle Heyne recorded a goal and an assist to pace Delaware Valley College to a 2-0 shutout of host Arcadia University in a non-conference game.

The Aggies won their second straight game and improved to 2-1 on the young season while the Knights fell to 0-2.

Heyne set up Delaware Valley's first goal less than nine minutes (8:49) into the contest as she assisted on senior midfielder Shannon Shivak's first goal of the season. Heyne then notched her the first goal of her collegiate career with an unassisted tally with 11:25 to go before halftime.

The Aggie defense took care of the rest as they allowed just seven shots in the contest, compared to 17 by Delaware Valley. Sophomore goalkeeper Jackie Deschenes made three saves, en route to her first collegiate shutout.
