Field Hockey - 2005 Season Archive

Head coach Jenn Wolfgang and the Aggies finished the 2005 season with a 9-8 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Freedom Conference.

Delaware Valley got off to a 4-0 start and posted its second winning season in the last three years. The Aggies also battled for a conference playoff spot until the last day of the regular season.

Senior defender and four-year starter Marcy Nye earned all-Freedom Conference honors for the first time in her career as she was a second team selection. Nye notched six defensive saves and helped the Aggies allow just 2.2 goals and 17.4 shots per game.

Fellow senior Tiffany LaRosa concluded her career as the program's fifth all-time leading scorer with 22 goals and 14 assists for 58 points. In 2005, she tied a school record for assists in a season with seven and also added eight goals for 23 points.
