DOYLESTOWN (PA) - The Delaware Valley College field hockey team picked up its first win of the season as the Aggies blanked visiting Neumann College, 1-0, in a non-conference game.

The lone goal of the contest came with 15:07 left in the first half as freshman forward Lauren Dubiel scored off an assist from senior midfielder Kelly Geissler. The tally was the first in Dubiel's collegiate career.

Delaware Valley (1-2) outshot the Knights (1-4) by a 17-14 margin. Freshman Corrie Small made 11 saves to pick up her first collegiate win and shutout. Junior Marcy Nye made a big defensive save in the first half to prevent a Neumann goal.

Dena Culbertson stopped seven shots for Neumann.
