King's College 2, Delaware Valley 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Amanda Jez and Lindsay Sabo notched unassisted goals to lead King's College to a 2-0 shutout of host Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

The Lady Monarchs improved to 10-5 overall and 3-2 in the conference while Delaware Valley fell to 6-11, 0-5.

It was Senior Day for the Aggies as they honored Kristin Cottman and Kelly Geissler before the last home game of their stellar collegiate careers.

However, Jez and Sabo spoiled the senior's day with their fourth and 10th goals respectively. Jez struck 11:55 into the game while Sabo gave King's some breathing room as her tally came with 21:18 remaining in the contest.

The Lady Monarchs held a 14-3 advantage in shots. Danielle Rivera made two saves for the shutout while freshman Corrie Small stopped eight shots for Delaware Valley.
