Delaware Valley 3, Immaculata University 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Bobbie Fultz scored a pair of goals and Kristin Cottman tied the Delaware Valley career record for goals as the Aggles notched a 3-0 shutout over visiting Immaculate University in a non-conference game.

The win improved Delaware Valley to 5-7 on the season while the Mighty Macs fell to 0-12.

The game was scoreless until Cottman set up Fultz for her first goal of the season with just 33 seconds left in the first half.

Cottman made it 2-0 midway through the second stanza as she successfully converted a penalty stroke. The goal was Cottman's 36th of her career, tying the Aggie record set by 1983 graduate Diane Bradley. Earlier this season, Cottman became the school's all-time leading scorer.

Fultz scored her second goal of the game off an assist from Lauren Dubiel with 1:23 to go. Delaware Valley held a 23-5 advantage in shots. Corrie Small stopped all five attempts to earn the shutout.
