FDU-Florham 3, Delaware Valley 1

MADISON (NJ) - Kate Springmeyer scored two goals, including the game-winner nine minutes into the second half, to give FDU-Florham a 3-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

The Aggies fell to 6-12 overall and 0-5 in the conference with the loss while the Devils upped their record to 3-14, 1-5.

Delaware Valley took a 1-0 lead with 4:43 remaining in the first half as Kristin Cottman took a feed from Bobbie Fultz and scored her 10th goal of the season and the 38th of her career.

However, Springmeyer tied the contest with just 70 seconds to go in the half with an unassisted tally. She struck again with 25:55 remaining in the second half and Krystle Birmingham gave the Devils an insurance goal with 13:01 remaining.

FDU-Florham outshot the Aggies by 37-20 margin. Corrie Small stopped 12 shots in the loss.
