DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Christy Miller and Emily Davis scored second-half goals to lift the Eastern University field hockey team to a 2-0 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The game was scoreless until 10 minutes into the second half when Miller connected off a Danielle Prescott assist. Just four minutes later, Davis hit the back of the cage with an assist going to Lauren Llatsha.

The Eagles (2-0) outshot the Aggies (0-2), 20-6, and held a 12-6 edge in penalty corners. Joelyn Moyer, made four saves to pick up the shutout. Freshman Corrie Small stopped 12 shots in the loss.
