PURCHASE (NY) - In the program's first Freedom Conference game, Manhattanville College received goals from Kristen Coffey, Ashley Jerome and Dionne Jones to blank visiting Delaware Valley College, 3-0.

The Valiants (2-5, 1-0) joined the conference for field hockey only and the addition of the seventh team on the Freedom side will give the conference an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs in two years.

Jones scored the lone goal of the first half while Coffey and Jerome scored six minutes apart late in the second stanza. April Yeomans made nine saves, including one on a penalty stroke early in the contest, to earn the shutout.

Lauren Duke made 10 saves for the Aggies (3-4, 1-1).
