Cabrini College 3, Delaware Valley 2

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Megan Farrell scored the game-winning goal with 12:59 remaining to lift Cabrini College to a 3-2, non-conference victory over host Delaware Valley College.

The loss was the seventh straight for the Aggies, who fell to 3-9 on the season. Cabrini won its third in a row and improved to 6-6.

Delaware Valley erased an early 1-0 deficit and took a 2-1 lead into the intermission. Kristin Cottman tied the contest with 14:26 left in the half as the junior found the cage for the sixth time this season. The goal also upped Cottman's career point total to 51 and moved her into fifth place on the Delaware Valley all-time scoring list.

Eight minutes later, Tiffany LaRosa gave the Aggies a 2-1 lead with her second goal of the season.
However, Cabrini scored twice in a three-minute span in the second half to come away with the victory.
Jody Sodano scored her second goal of the game - both off of penalty strokes with 15:36 left and Farrell followed with the game winner.

Delaware Valley held a 17-15 advantage in shots. Marlo Jones and Lauren Duke combined to make 11 saves in the loss.
