Arcadia University 4, Delaware Valley 3 (OT)

GLENSIDE (PA) -- Steph Smolinsky's goal with 1:49 left in the first overtime gave Arcadia University a 4-3, come-from-behind victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Smolinsky scored an unassisted goal in the extra session for her second tally of the game. She also socred with 10:53 left in regulation to tie the game after Delaware Valley (1-1) had built a 3-0 lead.

The Aggies got that three goal lead during a 17-minute span in the first half. Kristin Cottman scored her third goal of the season just 2:14 into the contest. Senior Sara Astbury followed 12 minutes later with her third goal of the year off an assist from Jackie Donovan. The goal upped Astbury's career point total to 51 and moved her into fourth place on the Delaware Valley all-time list.

Sophomore Tiffany LaRosa then made it 3-0 with 15:06 left in the half as she scored an unassistd goal - her first of the season.

Delaware Valley held a 26-23 advantage in shots. Freshman Missy Cannon made 15 saves in the loss.
