Field Hockey - 2003 Season Archive

Head coach Jenn Wolfgang and the Aggies finished the 2003 season with an 8-13 record, but, more importantly, 4-2 and in third place in the Freedom Conference to reach the postseason for the second time in the last three years.

Delaware Valley won five of its last six regular-season games, including three victories against conference opponents. The Aggies dropped a 5-2 decision at No. 2 seed and eventual conference champion Drew University in the semifinals.

Junior forward Kristin Cottman (12 goals, 2 assists, 26 points) earned all-conference honors for the third year in a row while senior defender/midfielder Lindsay Higgins (2 goals, 3 assists, 7 points) capped her career as a second team all-conference honoree.
