SCRANTON (PA) - Victoria Crocco took a pass from junior Katie Szczepanski and blasted a goal from 10 yards out at the 26:20 mark of the first half to lift The University of Scranton to a 1-0 victory over Delaware Valley in Freedom Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Scranton, which improved to 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the Freedom Conference. The loss dropped the Aggies to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in league play. The game was also a rematch of last year's Freedom Conference semifinals where the Lady Royals pulled out a 2-0 victory.

Leigh Stiffler made a match-high four saves in goal for the Aggies, who were outshot by Scranton, 9-3.
