ALLENTOWN (PA) - Kristen Bruschi scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Muhlenberg College to a 5-0 shutout over visiting Delaware Valley College in the season opener for both teams.

Bruschi assisted on Laura Diez's goal just 7:43 into the game. She then scored consecutive goal midway through the first half as the Mules took a 3-0 lead into the intermission. Holly Pico and Alexa Sterbinsky scored second-half goals for Muhlenberg.

Senior Leigh Stiffler made eight saves in net for the Aggies, who are coming off a school-record 12-8 season and their first conference playoff appearance since 1980.
